It appears that there has been a repair to the trunk lid at some point, and the Bondo has chipped away to reveal bare metal. Its paint is tired, and it sports a few dents and flaws, but there is no evidence of significant exterior rust. The owner doesn’t supply a lot of information about this Pearl White Triumph. This 1958 Triumph TR3A is a case in point. This particular matching numbers example was commission number 32, 520, building date 11th June 1958, originally in Pearl White with Red Vynide interior. The basic style was not changed, the 3A could be recognised by the wide mouth front grill and external door handles. Front disk brakes were now standard with a 100hp engine. The TR3 A was the best selling side screen TR which took over from the TR3 in late 1957.
